NACCHO COVID-19 Webinar: “The Impact of COVID-19 on School Re-Opening”
These are extraordinary times for public health, and your efforts on the front lines are making an incredible impact. As the response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, your roles at local public health are expanding rapidly. In an effort to hear about local issues and provide an opportunity for you to connect with national partners, NACCHO invites local health department leadership and staff to participate in a webinar, The Impact of COVID-19 on School Re-Opening.

This call is open to all members of local health departments as well as other community partners who are interested in this topic.

The goals of the call are to:
• Gain insight on how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the virtual and in-person return to school;
• Learn how school re-opening has impacted coronavirus data at the local level
• Learn about CDC’s current back to school guidance and recommendations including social distancing, infection control practices, screening and testing, and immunizations;
• Share insights on local issues and practices that may inform the local health departments’ role in ensuring school safety and
• Offer an opportunity to ask questions and engage in open discussion.
