I see that you can check all that apply for the RISE categories; are there limitations on the number of categories for each tier of award or can all tiers select more than 1 category?

We have a team working on the application. Does this system allow more than one user to work collaboratively on the application or can one 1 person from the team be the official data entry person?

No, there is not a limit on the number of categories. You can choose between 1 - 4

If you want to work collaboratively, we recommend using a shared email such as your unit MRC email.

Who should sign the Non-Debarment and W9?

What is the spend by date? June 2023, right?

Does it have to be directly COVID ops related or can it be more along the lines of recovery fromCOVID? I.e our MRC helped during COVID but we did not get to do regular recruitment, management so we have low volunteer numbers and outdated background screens.

Our DOH requires us to submit approval from our central office which could take 4-6 weeks. 😩. We just learned about this opp. If we applied and didn’t get approved from DOH central office and naccho decided to award it to us, could we turn it down last minute?

For SOW's - We recommend that you include a proposed list of deliverables associated with any consultant fees along with estimated costs. We will let you know if we need to have supporting documentation to support the consulting fees.

For those who received awards during the first round, we recommend that you wait for further instructions. Round 1 awardees will only be eligible for Round 2 if there are any unallocated funds left!

What if our main cost is for equipment only, is that ok? Or do we have to fill sustain, respond etc?

Katie - yes, we encourage you to apply. We will announce notice of awards on October 7, but it is not binding if you need to withdraw.

so if wearable items with brand on them are to be considered a uniform for all mrc volunteers, that can not be covered in this award?

Savannah- Items that can be issued for deployment or other MRC activities and returned for reuse are allowable.An example are safety vests, which can be customized to show the MRC logo. Non-returnable itemssuch as t-shirts are not considered allowable

Is the money only awardeed to the MRC host? Is the money issued as a check or based on reimbursement of spending of funds?

What if your grant is statewide and the 'system' you are developing is to be replicated statewide. For example, One POD Tent and supplies in four regions.

All weather jackets/items that are retained by the unit as unit supplies are allowed.

Are RISE budget requirements the same for Round 2?

The award is broken down into three payments and checks are made out to the sponsoring agency since the contract is aligned with them as the SAM.gov entity.

How do we know if it is an approved vendor?

So a 501c3 could not accept for us? It must be the host agency?

As in the 501c3 is a partner with us.

What about replacement tires for a current trailer? a decade old and has original tires.

To receive funding, organization needs to have 501c (3) status. Is that the MRC unit itself or can it be our supporting organization?

Mike, unfortunately any vehicle/trailer maintenance costs are unallowable.

Marsha, sponsoring agencies eligible to receive funding can include non-profits, governmental agencies or organizations eligible to receive federal funding.

question regarding the 5,000 max. If we are intending to purchase new technologies (ie. laptops and tablets) for use at PODs, etc - are the laptops capped at 5,000 each system (ie. laptop, and softwares by each laptop) or all laptops can't surpass 5000?

Pamela, yes handheld radios are allowable as long as they don't reach the equipment threshold.

Was it said that Health Departments as housing organizations are not allowed to apply for the grant?

Amateur radio is allowable as long as it is not over 5K equipment threshold.
