I am working with a deflection program run by the police department that connects individuals with treatment options instead of arrest, we want to build up the capacity to provide housing support (funded by the city/county not the grant) for people experiencing homelessness. Lack of housing is a primary barrier to treatment for these folks experiencing homelessness. Given the extraordinarily high rate of ACEs among people experiencing homelessness, would this focus satisfy the need to for these projects to be addressing ACEs?
