Laura Jackson - I just promoted you as a panelist.
Our goal is to update EnviroAtlas national data every five years, when updates to the National Land Cover Database are released.
Are there ways of drawing on health data if our city is not one that the data is available for? I am from Buffalo, NY
EnviroAtlas community data are relatively current (within 4-10 yrs.); we are looking to spread coverage more broadly geographically. Updates will be possible when one-meter landcover data are more widely available.
Many national data layers apply to human health as well.
Where are you from, Kevin?
If you have one-meter landcover data, we can help you with creating many of our community metrics.
All of our code is publicly available.
The recording will be available later on NACCHO's website. The link will be sent out to all registrants after the webinar.
Kevin, let's talk offline: Jackson.firstname.lastname@example.org. We can certainly share our code.
No, but you can get to the guts of the data and code onscreen in the mapping application by raising a tab at the bottom that shows the code, I believe.
Also, you can download the data with field names, etc.
Mapping CAFOs is underway; they're challenging because records often list the parent company, not the field site.
No. We do have a climate viewer that you can control in that way.
