CDC cannot make decisions for jurisdictions about whether or not to open. We can provide prevention guidance when a pool is decided to be open. State and local health officials will make the decision to open public venues.

COVID-19 is not considered a water-borne disease, and is typically transmitted person-to-person. Properly maintained (potable) municipal water sources should not contain viruses, and can be considered safe for consumption, washing, and pool use..

Is it safe to send our children to indoor swim lessons where instructors will be teaching the swim skills. What kind of PPC should need to wear by Instructors or how do they need to teach for the little kids?
